Walking through the town of Chelva with its Jewish, Moorish, Christian, and Arabic influence, traversing the Ruta del … More Agua along and above the river, and hiking up into the mountains, through tunnels that form part of the aqueduct before crossing the aqueduct itself, we saw incredible scenery, and best of all, the aqueduct–an amazing feat of engineering–over 2,000 years old, and completely preserved! It was nice getting to know this international group of hikers, and Dmitry has deep knowledge of the region which he is happy to share when asked. The hike was often uphill which was strenuous for me, though my husband (who is athletic) classified it as moderate. Highly recommend!

  For me, our … More trip with the Valencia Mountain Enthusiasts was the very best experience of my whole life. There was never a dull moment with a really great international group of people. We stayed in shared rooms in hotels with a choice to have a private room if you wished. Breakfasts were included – we were in Italy – What’s not to like about the food?
  All in all, Dmitry, curated a perfect week. The walks started really mind blowingly good and just when you thought it couldn’t get better it did! Our final walk of the week was totally epic! The finest!!!

  Melchor is knowledgeable, sociable, and shows a lot of concern for hikers in the group, regardless of their experience and fitness. I was towards the front of the group this time, but he encouraged everyone to stay relatively close and routinely checked on everyone in the front and back of the pack.
  This hike had gorgeous cliff views from the top and in a canyon — and there were tricky spots with slick rock that required ropes and river crossings over boulders. (Not steep, but required planning and balance etc). Melchor navigated it all patiently and made sure everyone had fun. It was a great day with awesome views. Here are a few photos

  I recently had the pleasure of joining a weekend hiking trip organized by Dmitry in Ademuz, and I can't recommend him enough. I've known him for six years, and he has never disappointed me.
  This was my first experience with a … More weekend hike that included accommodation, and it was fantastic. Our group consisted of nine people from different countries and age groups, yet the communication throughout the trip was smooth and enjoyable.
  The route was exceptionally well planned, showcasing breathtaking landscapes and stunning waterfalls. Every moment was a delight, and I truly appreciated Dmitry’s expertise and knowledge of the area.
